The strong aromatic spice is native to Indonesia and over 90% of it is consumed within Indonesia for food dishes and local cigarettes. It’s also extensively used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine. Its eugenol substance fights off toxins and relives discomfort.

It brings a unique pungent taste which is both biting and hot. Our company is involved in planting new trees in Kalimantan while assisting local communities on various projects.

White Pepper

Coming from ripe pepper berries off the islands of Indonesia, these are soaked in water for several days to allow its outer skin to fall off revealing its whitish cream seed. This also removes some of the spicy piperine compound found in black pepper and reduces its volatile oils which gives it a different a flavour and heat. Our bold and flavourful Indonesian white pepper is highly versatile and can be used in many dishes.

The Indonesian Long Pepper has a rich history and was once a prized pepper which was forgotten due to the rise in popularity by the peppercorns. Its unique earthy flavour gives it a {spicy kick} and floral hint. The brownish black flower spikes consist of numerous tiny fruits and which adds heat to any dish it’s added to.

These naturally grown trees have been grown for generations by native families living in the lush jungles of Sumatra. The high quality and consistency of the product makes it’s highly valuable. Trees can take up to 20 years before they mature and produce quality cinnamon. We never blend our products with inferior ones.

We offer a range of these naturally grown cinnamons from whole long sticks, cut Sticks, broken, granules and grounded powder. volatile oils range from less than 1% up to 3.5%.

The nutmeg tree is native to several Indonesian islands including the famously known Spice Islands. The tree bears Nutmeg fruits which when its split reveals a oval shaped hard kernel closely enveloped by a crimson red coloured thread like arils known as Mace. This shelled dry Nutmeg seed has many medicinal properties and is a fragrant addition used to enhance flavours in drinks and food.

We offer a range of these naturally grown nutmegs from whole, SS, BWP and grounded powder. volatile oils ranging from 4% – 7%.

Mace

This crimson red thread like arils which are wrapped around a Nutmeg seed is known as Mace. Mace is gentle peeled off the seed and dried. It provides a lighter, subtler and sweeter taste than nutmeg. Once dried, it’s usually grounded into powder.

Native to South Asia, this spice may be the most effective nutritional herb in existence. The turmeric itself comes from the root of the plant which is also part of the ginger family. The fresh root is oblong and knotty and can be used fresh or dried. It provides an abundance of antioxidants with lots of healing properties.
